Abstract

Ocean loading tides introduce earth surface displacements at the centimetre level. We show that these effects can be recovered from GP5 data using long time-series from Precise Point Positioning solutions. The formal uncertainty of the observed ocean loading parameters can be as low as half a millimetre. Observations from 11 stations are used.
