The present study aims to analyze the complex behavior of air pollutants using factor analysis on Hyderabad. Kaggle data of five different locations in Hyderabad consisting of ten major air polluting components over a period of 30 months (January 2018–June 2020) was used for the purpose. Statistical software IBM SPSS version 23 was employed to identify the contribution levels of various air pollutant components to the air pollution. Significance of the location played a prominent role in grouping the air pollutants into factors. It was noticed that residential areas had less number of factors than compared to purely industrial and industrial cum residential areas.
