Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to describe the competence, performance of employees and the quality of administrative services, as well as to examine the effect of competence and performance of administrative employees on the quality of administrative services at STKIP DDI Pinrang, South Sulawesi. This type of research is a quantitative research through the ex post facto method. The population of this study were students at STKIP DDI Pinrang, totaling 184 people, which were taken as much as 20% so that the research sample was 36 students. The instrument uses a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. The results of the study prove that the competence of employees, the performance of administrative employees and the quality of administrative services are in the moderate category, which means that the competence, performance and quality of administrative services at STKIP DDI Pinrang still need to be improved. Employee competence has a positive and significant effect on the quality of administrative services by 47.2%. Employee performance has a positive and significant effect on the quality of administrative services by 64.8%. Competence and employee performance simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the quality of administrative services at STKIP DDI Pinrang by 85.2%. The implication of this research is that administrative employees must continue to train and develop their potential, such as knowledge, disciplined nature and develop their skills for better performance, work with discipline and responsibility, produce quality performance, while maintaining mutual commitment. and organization. With the increase in the quality of administrative services, students will feel satisfied with the services provided
