Abstract

(from the chapter) The author suggests increased sensitivity of participants in the NATO Advanced Studies Institute conference on recovered memories of childhood sexual abuse. He also considers the concept of sensitivity in signal detection theory and its application to the issue of memory work and recovered memories.
