Abstract

The constant incorporation of technological didactics to the educational scene has caused a true revolution in the conception of teaching and learning. The present study, carried out with a sample of 256 students, is part of the process of dissemination of results of an interuniversity collaborative project between professors from the University of Murcia and Salamanca, in order to know the assessment made by students, future professionals of education, about using Kahoot! as a teaching tool for gamification in the subject of Educational Research Methodology, analyzing the influence of gender on said assessments. The results obtained, presented as an assessment of needs for future decisions regarding equality, show that despite the fact that all students consider that Kahoot! and its playful methodology, constitute a good didactic resource that enhances and favors the development of competences, it is male students who position themselves more in favor of the usefulness and practicality of this tool and its benefits in the teaching-learning process.
