Abstract

This paper addresses the control problem for a photovoltaic generator coupled to a boost DC-DC converter taking into consideration the nonlinearities and the parametric uncertainties of the model. After the analysis and modeling of the photovoltaic power system by a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model, the design strategy of the control law is proposed and the stabilization conditions are formulated in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) which can be solved very efficiently using convex optimisation techniques. Simulation and experimental results will be given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed methods.
