Abstract

There has been a huge increase in the use of high technology ineducation. In this paper we discuss some aspects of technology that havemajor applications in STEM education, namely, (a) virtual realitysystems, (b) personal electronic response systems aka ``clickers{{}''{}},(c) flipped classrooms, (d) mobile learning ``m-Learning{{}''{}}, (e)massive open online courses ``MOOCS{{}''{}}, (f) internet-of-things and (g)cloud computing.
