The activity of buying and selling native chickens is one of the transactions that the people of Blumbungan Larangan Pamekasan are interested in, where this transaction still follows the traditions, customs or habits of the surrounding community. This study aims to determine the practice of buying and selling intercepts in the Blumbungan market in increasing profits from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection procedures used were unstructured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that: First, the buying and selling of intercepts that occurred at the Blumbungan Market was carried out by intercepting people who wanted to sell their native chickens to the Blumbungan market in the morning and evening and precisely on the highway to the Blumbungan chicken market, where the intercept was carried out so that traders could make lower bids in order to increase profits when sold in the market. Second, the practice of buying and selling intercepts that occur in the blumbungan market is not in accordance with the teachings of Islamic business ethics.
