Abstract

The middle third and the lower third of the face are regions responsible for performing actions as diverse as talking, laughing, whistling, gesturing, or chewing, and the need for treatments that help to diminish the lines of expression as a result of cutaneous aging and facial movements is on the increase. The treatment with botulinum toxin (BT) has now become one of the most widely used cosmetic techniques in the world to combat antiaging. It is a fast, safe, and guaranteed treatment and is the only treatment for dynamic wrinkles currently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). So, in this chapter how to make the application of botulinum toxin in the middle third of the face is discussed in detail.
