Abstract

ABSTRACTA brand ambassador is someone who has a passion for the brand, wants to introduce a brand, even voluntarily provides information about the brand. Brand Love is a very strong emotional experience both in terms of interpersonal relationships and relationships between consumers and brands. The important things in brand love are passion for a brand, brand attachment, positive evaluation of the brand, positive emotions in response to the brand and declarations of love toward the brand. The rapid growth in increased use of the internet and social networks is an important thing where word of mouth is currently not only done individually but can be in any form including the internet called electronic word of mouth (eWOM). This research was conducted to determine the effect of brand ambassadors, and E-WOM on Tokopedia brand love. Respondent was chosen at the age range of 21-30 years and found 240 samples. This type of research uses a causal explanatory method. R-square show the result of 0.611 which means that brand ambassador and E-WOM give the contribution to brand love by 61.1%. While the remaining 49.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this research model. With this research, three hypotheses were obtained that support the data and previous studies. The results show that the brand ambassador and E-WOM have a direct influence on the Tokopedia brand love. From this study it was found that the things that enhance brand ambassadors are the expertise of the brand ambassadors themselves and for E-WOM itself the things that enhance E-WOM are positive opinions and negative opinions.Keywords: Brand Ambassador, E-WOM, Brand LoveABSTRAKBrand ambassador adalah seseorang yang memiliki passion terhadap brand, mau memperkenalkan sebuah brand, bahkan dengan sukarela memberikan informasi mengenai brand. Brand Love pengalaman emosional yang sangat kuat baik dari segi hubungan interpersonal dan hubungan antar konsumen dan merek. Hal-hal yang penting di dalam brand love adalah passion for a brand, brand attachment, positive evaluation of the brand, positive emotions in response to the brand, declarations of love toward the brand. Peningkatan penggunaan internet dan jejaring sosial yang meningkat merupakan hal yang penting dalam pelaksanaan word of mouth. Berbagai interaksi pada dunia maya terjadi baik secara individu maupun tidak. Hal ini yang menyebabkan terciptanya electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM yaitu segala bentuk pada dunia maya dalam menyambaikan produk atau merek tertentu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand ambassador, dan E-WOM terhadap brand love Tokopedia dengan kategori usia 21-30 tahun. Dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner didapati sampel sejumlah 240. Nilai adjusted R-square didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,611 yang berarti bahwa brand ambassador dan E-WOM mempengaruhi brand love sebesar 61,1%. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 49,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam model penelitian ini. Dengan penelitian ini didapatkan tiga hipotesis yang mendukung data dan penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Didapatkan hasil bahwa brand ambassador dan E-WOM memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap brand love tokopedia. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa hal-hal yang meningkatkan brand ambassador adalah expertise dari brand ambassador itu sendiri dan untuk E-WOM sendiri hal-hal yang meningkatkan E-WOM adalah pendapat positif dan pendapat negative.Kata Kunci: Brand Ambassador, E-WOM, Brand Love
