Abstract

Three new himeic acids E-G were isolated from a marine-derived fungus, Aspergillus sp., and their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis. Although himeic acid A inhibited the activity of ubiq-uitin-activating enzyme (E1), the three new derivatives did not. © 2013 The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
