Modeling the ship degaussing coil's effect based on magnetization method

Abstract

Before the warship building, it needs to calculation the degaussing coil's effect to design the degaussing coil arrangement. The paper proposed the method of modeling ship degaussing coil's effect based on magnetization. The new method calculation the ship degaussing coil's effect split less element than presently method, calculation fast but still with high accuracy. The result of calculation on the simple mathematic model shows that the method is reliable and feasible. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
