Abstract

Surgical management of OPLL is challenging because of high neurological complication rate. Intraoperative spinal neuromonitoring (IONM) can reduce neurological deterioration and provide increased accuracy in the detection of spinal cord injury. In this chapter, we report the efficacy, limitations, and the possibility for prevention neurological complication during OPLL surgery.
