Abstract

Cancer in the Spine emphasizes both fundamental principles and current concepts in the diagnosis, staging, medical and surgical treatment of the primary and metastatic tumors for physicians providing care to patients with spinal column tumors, including internal medicines physicians, oncologists, orthopedic surgeons, spine surgeons, resident's and fellows in these fields. The book provides the reader with a broad perspective as to the range of therapies available to treat spinal disease, as well as an understanding of the technical aspects, draw backs, and expected outcome with each approach.
