Abstract

The synthesis of polymeric membranes for modeling of cell membranes is based on crosslinked diethylaminoethylmethacrylate which has selective permeability for individual nucleoside monophosphates. The formation of selective porous structures was investigated, and the possible mechanisms of ion transfers are discussed. The low-mol.-wt. compds. studied include deoxyadenosine, L-phenylalanine, and AMP, and the selectivity of the polymers was studied by electrophoresis.
