Hyaluronic Acid for Lips and Perioral Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Abstract

Lips are crucial in facial aesthetics, mainly due to their position but even due to color, surface texture, and shape. However aging of this area causes perioral fine lines (bar code), marionette lines, and vanishing of Cupid's bow. Treatment of lip alteration varies from lip enhancement to bar code smooth out. So in our experience, the right way to approach the problem of ``bar code'' is to make a preliminary assessment of the severity of pre-existing damage. Then after properly supervising patients, it is possible to put in place a personalized therapeutic plan.
