Polymer composites have been increasingly used in biomedical applications because of their unique combination of mechanical, chemical, and biological properties. These materials have shown promising results in various fields such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, and implant design. In this review, we examine the current state of polymer composites for biomedical applications, including the materials used, their properties, and processing methods. The advantages and limitations of these materials are also discussed, along with future perspectives and challenges that need to be addressed to fully realize their potential. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of this field, highlight recent advances, and encourage further research on the development of polymer composites for biomedical applications.
