Abstract

This paper proposed a new method for stitching image which combines Significant Central Coefficient (SCC) image fusion algorithm with the image mosaic algorithm based on SIFT feature. The algorithm fused the source image by RWT-CM-SCC method, and stitched fused image based on SIFT features. The experiments showed that the proposed algorithm not only improve the clearness and spatial frequency, make full use of valid information from the different sensor images, but also improve the splice accuracy. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
