Abstract
Three processes for doping futile crystals, vacuum reduction, hydrogen reduction, and electrochemical hydrogen loading are considered. The mecha- nisms by which n-type conductivity is produced, the relative disorder in the crystal, and the effects on photoelectrochemical behavior are compared for these different processes.
