Abstract

In a separate chapter we describe a simple method for single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) discovery using genomic reduction. Here we describe a scalable and cost-effective SNP genotyping method based on KBioscience’s competitive allele-specifi c PCR amplifi cation of target sequences and endpoint fl uorescence genotyping (KASPar™) using a FRET capable plate reader or Fluidigm’s dynamic array highthroughput platform.
