Abstract

This study aims to determine student`s perceptions of the implementation of online learning in the Biology Science subject during the Covid-19 pandemic for class VIII at SMPN 9 Pekanbaru. This research is quantitative research. The method used in this study is a survey method. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The sample in this study were 160 students. Based on the results of the study, students’ perceptions of the implementation of online learning in Biology Science subject during the Covid-19 pandemic for class VIII at SMPN 9 Pekanbaru obtained an average score of 80.76% in the good category. The highest sub-indicator, namely opening learning, obtained a percentage of 92.41% in the very good category. Meanwhile, the lowest sub-indicator is giving conclusions with a percentage of 67.34%.
