Abstract

The urea selective catalytic reduction (Urea-SCR) system is a after-treatment device to control diesel engine emissions. On the basis of the experiment, a one-dimensional calculation model for the catalytic reduction of the engine is established. Through the one-dimensional simulation, the effect factors such as urea injection, exhaust temperature and length of catalysis converter in the diesel engine Urea-SCR system on NOx conversion efficiency are studied. This study provides a theoretical basis for the selection and matching of catalytic converters.
