Abstract

Agile methods strive for clarity at the level of operations. Value Based Management is an integrated strategic and financial approach to the general management of businesses that strives for clarity at the level of the business. This paper discusses how they complement each other, presenting and discussing five principles. Particular attention is focused on metrics for measuring value creation and efficient resource usage. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2003.
