Abstract

Teams are increasingly becoming an essential component of organizations across industries. A lot has been written on team work in the recent years. While the importance of teams in organizations has largely been recognized, our understanding about what makes a ‘team’ work has remained limited. Reviewing the relevant literature related to some aspects of teams, the present paper identifies certain issues and areas which require further investigation for a better insight about team work in organizations.
