Abstract

1. Introduction and overview. The purpose of the interview was to gain insights on how to develop the agent-based model especially relating to modelling the day-ahead and the intra-day electricity markets. Secondly, to understand how to model the network grid for the markets, especially how to position the wind park in this network. In the EU, different countries have different markets for day-ahead and intra-day market and they have different dynamics in each of these countries. Moreover, clear information was not easily accessible. The significance of the information that was indeed accessible was difficult to ascertain in context of the model.
