Abstract

Proposes a quantitative health risk assessment approach for use by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in setting national ambient air quality standards. The approach is based on techniques and concepts applied in previous analyses of air pollution control and is compatible with formal risk evaluation and decision analysis methodology. -Author
