Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility is more crucial now than ever, as society as a whole responds to challenges on a global scale - from the continuing strife nationalism causes to international supply chains, to the problems posed by the climate change crisis, to the continuing issue of slavery in the modern age. The Palgrave Handbook of Corporate Social Responsibility is a comprehensive, authoritative overview of CSR in all its forms, providing a multiplicity of interdisciplinary tertiary research from esteemed academics in their fields. It will cover everything from the theoretical basis for CSR, to environmental aspects of CSR, including responses to climate change and resource depletion; society and CSR, including work-life balance and modern slavery; regional aspects of CSR (reviewing CSR in both developed and developing countries, and providing an in-depth examination of Latin America, Africa and the Middle East). It is aimed as a resource for a global scholarly audience looking for a detailed presentation of major accounts of corporate social responsibility on an international scale.
