Abstract

This paper is an attempt to better understand Tamarkin's proofs of classical non-displaceability theorems of symplectic geometry, based on the microlocal theory of sheaves whose main features we recall here. We also obtain some new results on torsion sheaves and we show how to recover a classical result of Fukaya-Seidel-Smith (see also Nadler) by using an existence theorem of Viterbo.
