Abstract

The author discusses technology in terms of developing countries such India. Topics discussed include access to the same information resources for everyone in India with the expansion of the mobile phone network in the last decade, need for understanding the issues facilitating the utilization and application of the digital and communication technologies for moving India into an inclusive knowledge society and creating digital content in understandable languages and scripts.
