Abstract

Traditional teaching and learning method such as teacher being the controller of the classroom and as the source of knowledge while learners act as a passive receiver is no longer an ideal method for today’s classroom settings. Instead of being a receiver, student nowadays also ought to give input in class, take charge of class activities and allow to give feedbacks, feeling as much responsible as the teachers and having fun while learning. Blended Learning is a new pedagogical approach which provides a mixed-mode learning and teaching method. The term “blended” brought the meaning of blending a multimedia tool such as text, audio, video, animation, virtual reality, edutainment and effective functions into interactive learning experience. This paper is aimed to investigate students’ experience on blended learning at one of private university in Kuala Lumpur. The objective of this research is to identify the students’ experience on blended learning towards course content, delivery media, learning outcome, interactivity and the relevancy towards the course structure. This study shall prove that blended learning is able to give a new experience and approach to the students while making teaching and learning more effective, interactive and not to forget, fun.
