The effect of solution and aging treatment on the grain boundary reaction as well as general precipitation was investigated. The extent of reaction that occurred during aging was affected by aging and cooling, and the maximum amount was obtained in the water-quenched specimen. Creep rupture life was longer on the specimen with a small amount of grain boundary reaction.
