Abstract
There is an increasing interest in the use of moving bed technology for chemical compound separation, recuperation of petrochemical processes, drying of grains and seeds and removal of organic matter in affluents, to mention a few applications. The advantages of using a moving bed configuration are low investment, low energy consumption, low maintenance and improvement process performance.
