Abstract

(from the chapter) Considers general issues that provide a context for understanding research focusing on understanding the developmental course of youth with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and conduct disorder (CD). The goals of the chapter are to quantify the degree of stability associated with CD throughout the life span and to explain some of the variability in outcomes for children with CD.
