Abstract

Although circuit techniques still are changing, the rate is down and the emphasis now is on improving productivity. This article describes productivity improvement opportunities which can be used to screen electrical and electronic product designs and manufacturing operations for possible evaluation. Among the items examined are: integrated circuits, electronic components, accessories-on board, accessories-off board, materials, processes and equipment.
