A noção de embodiment e questões sobre atuação

Abstract

In Brazil, the words representation and interpretation are generally considered as opposites. On the other hand, the term ´to act´ is considered more comprehensive. This essay aims to discuss the use of those terms from the notion of embodiment, as it is used by Erika Fischer-Litche, and also from questions proposed by the theatre group LUME and the continuum non-acting/acting proposed by Michael Kirby.
