The authors have proposed recommendations for the development of assessing students' knowledge (major "The use of units and the operation of engineering electrical equipment"). The article also considers principles that should guide the preparation of assessment tools. As an example, the authors developed a structure for evaluating the report on the course "Engineering", revealing the expected results and offering a detailed scheme to follow.
