Abstract

Fractional factor theory has extensive applications in some areas such as network design, combinatorial topology, and decision lists. For example, in the communication networks, if a large data package can be partitioned into parts to send to different destinations by different channels, then the running efficiency of the networks will be greatly improved. Feasible and efficient assignment data packages can be viewed as a problem of finding a fractional factor satisfying certain special conditions. © 2008 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
