Abstract

The authors have presented a case of an agioleiomyoma occurring on the foot of a young male. This tumor appears rarely, but it must be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients who present similar types of a subcutaneous nodule on the lower extremity. It has been suggested that the diagnosis of angioleiomyoma should be made when a painful subcutaneous nodule occurs on the lower extremity of a middle aged female. Surgical excision of the tumor is the treatment of choice in all cases.
