The acceptance and use of E-Warga portal among universiti kebangsaan Malaysia staff

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has spurred the development of a more interactive and user-friendly dalam talian application. In adapting to dalam talian applications, managing a university's governance especially to manage a variety of data and information involving various stakeholders, is a challenge for the management. Usage of a system is due to various factors such as ease of use, the usability of the system, believe in system security, information quality, system quality and the quality of services provided. The National University of Malaysia has been developing an dalam talian system that is called e-Warga Portal which is aim to improve productivity, effectiveness and efficiency in university performance among its workforce. The views and feedback from users are crucial for making improvements to dalam talian application systems such as the e-Warga Portal in UKM. This study uses descriptive analysis, aims to identify the views of UKM staff on the use of e-Warga Portal at university. Methodologically, this study utilized a quantitative method in which 600 respondents participated in this study. Respondents consist of three groups, namely Executive, Management & Professional and Academic staff. The results show that the quality of the system helps the respondents on their tasks and the quality of e-Warga portal services is important to help staff work effectively in the organization.
