Abstract

4 Cases of Hand-Schuller-Christian disease, all in males under the age of three are reported. The classical triad of exophthalmos, diabetes insipidus and multiple cranial swelling was present only in one case. Exophthalmos and multiple cranial swellings were present in all the cases. In addition to osteolytic lesions of skull, one case showed lytic lesions at the upper end of the tibia, a relatively uncommon finding. One patient had cervical lymphadenopathy and hepatosplenomegaly.
