Specially protected natural areas of the Kaliningrad Region

Abstract

The main categories of specially protected natural areas introduced by Russian environmental legislation are shown in this chapter. The historical prerequisites, the current state, and the prospects for the development of the Kaliningrad Region conservation areas are considered.
