Abstract

Abstract In article number 1801386, Jianan Ren, Yuanjin Zhao, and co‐workers report a bioinspired multifunctional hybrid hydrogel encapsulating vascular endothelial growth factor. Mixing of four‐armed benzaldehyde‐terminated polyethylene glycol and dodecyl‐modified chitosan forms the gel. The hydrogel efficiently heals both acute and chronic wounds based on its outstanding self‐healing, adhesion, hemostasis, anti‐infective properties, and other wound‐healing promoting capabilities.
