Abstract

Hypermedia development poses very specific problems such as the need for mechanisms to model sophisticated navigational structures, interactive behaviours and usable multimedia compositions. Moreover, since the majority of hypermedia applications are accessed by different users, security becomes a key feature. In this context, we present a development method called Ariadne which offers a number of tools to create hypermedia applications in an progressive and integrated way.
