Abstract

We present a patient with neuroleptic malignant syndrome and intestinal pseudoobstruction misdiagnosed as being secondary to septicaemia. The management of the patient is discussed with emphasis on the role of creatine kinase and liver function tests. © The Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine.
