Abstract

Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a rare multi-system genetic disease that causes non-malignant tumours to grow in the brain and in other vital organs such as the kidneys, heart, eyes, lungs, and skin. A combination of symptoms may include seizures, developmental delay, behavioural problems, skin abnormalities, lung and kidney disease. We hereby report a 40-year-old female who presented to us in status epileptics and was diagnosed to have tuberous sclerosis complex. We have presented this case to highlight the renal manifestations and importance of regular follow-up.
