Risk Assessment Process and Main Elements

Abstract

This chapter introduces to the risk assessment process and its main elements, based on the ISO31000 model. In addition to a brief discussion of each of the main elements of the process, there is a discussion of the critical aspects of ethics in risk assessment, based on experience from a recent case in Norway.
