Abstract

In the midst of deep, complex environmental and socio-economic change occurring from the local to the global scale, farmers, agribusinesses, and societies must innovate continuously if they are to cope, compete, and thrive. Sustainable agricultural development in particular demands - and depends on - an array of technical, social and institutional innovations.
