This paper discusses the design of a digital heritage exhibit entitled: Virtual Journey through the history of Fort Saint Jean (VJ-FSJ) project, a multi-disciplinary technology-based exhibit, which combines mixed media display systems, holographic imaging, video mapping on 3D printed models, augmented audio-visual environments, digital heritage narrative and storytelling embedded within physical and virtual architecture. Based in Fort Saint-Jean (FSJ), a historical and architectural site of Marseille, the exhibit planned to open in 2018, at the Musée des Civilisations de L’Europe et de la Méditerranée (MuCEM) in Marseille, France.
