Abstract

The phase transform algorithm is described and derived in the context of GRAS instrument data processing. This algorithm allows radio occultation neutral bending angles to be recovered in a locally spherically symmetrical atmosphere in the presence of multipath. The instrument operation and carrier phase reconstruction is described for both open loop mode and closed loop mode. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
