Abstract

Pseudoptosis is a waste basket, or heterogeneous group, of miscellaneous disorders in which there is an illusion of ptosis rather than true ptosis. The condition creating the appearance of pseudoptosis may involve the eye in question or the opposite eye. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
